The major components of this project are:

  1. Summarize existing conditions of access to high speed Internet and cell phone service in the Foothills region.

  2. Identify existing access capacity and gaps in coverage.

  3. Identify steps to resolve needs and gaps in coverage.

  4. Identify service providers, required stakeholders, steps (including permit and regulatory), costs, and resources (funding and other) available to provide access to high speed Internet and cell phone coverage in the Foothills region.

At the conclusion of this project, a report will be written addressing Communications, and will contain a summary of existing conditions of affordable high speed Internet and cell phone coverage in the Foothills region including, current access capacity and gaps, steps to resolve gaps. This report will also identify willing and capable service providers, required stakeholders, steps, costs, and resources available to provide these services.
